Resumen
Thermally stable aluminas with different pore diameters were synthesized using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as surfactant-directing agent in a water/triethanolamine (TEA) medium. The aluminas were synthesized by self-assembling processes by adequately balancing such processes and the hydrolysis and condensation reactions occurring at the inorganic phase. Solid with different pore sizes were observed by adjusting the Al (or surfactant)/water TEA molar ratio in the range from 2/111/15 to 2/195/4.
