Resumen
In the Tipuani-Mapiri basin the Cangalli Formation (Middle to Upper Miocene) partially fossilizes a fluvial erosion paleotopography located in the Amazonian slope of the Cordillera Oriental. The sediments were deposited following the uplift of the Serrania de Carura. This morphotectonic evolution is related to the thrusting activity between the Andean Cordillera and the Sub- Andean belt. Thus, the Cordillera Oriental reliefs appear successively from W to E.-English summary
