Abstract
Seven alkaloids have been isolated from bulbs of Narcissus cv. Salome. 2α-Hydroxy-6-O-methyloduline is reported here for the first time; its structure and stereochemistry were established by physical and spectroscopic methods. 1H and 13C NMR spectra of vasconine and hippeastrine were completely assigned by means of two-dimensional NMR techniques.
